Jordan Roettele
Just got back from this film. Cinematography alone was unreal. I've heard many people tell me that Asian films have great art direction which is why the cinematography is always to so good. But I have to disagree with that. Art direction helps the DP immensely but I feel if the film looks good its still the due to a large part to the DP. outstanding film. That's all I can say Don't want to generalize but just wanted to hear others options.
Pablo Herrera
YES!!! I too love watching this film just for the beautiful shots. The story isnt bad either. Anyone else seen this movie and want to comment on it?
freddie bonfanti
yeah, great stuff in there. one of the shots i love is when she walks into the flat and switches all the lights on, one after the other. the frame is pitch black at the start but as soon as she switches on a few practical lamps in the room we start seeing things. i always thought it was a smart way to introduce an environment with light.
