Premium Member Tim O'Connor Posted May 28, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted May 28, 2006 Are they any good? How are they different from Rosco foggers? Do they set off smoke detectors? Thanks.
Premium Member Luke Prendergast Posted May 29, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted May 29, 2006 A modern hazer uses much the same glycol-based fluid, and functions internally in a similar manner, to a fogger. The difference being that a hazer outputs a constant light stream of 'smoke' and a fogger does it in heavy bursts. It's far easier to keep a consistent and even level of haze with a hazer. Chris Pritzlaff
Do they set off smoke detectors? Oh they do - ended up setting off an alarm in a Junior High school with one durring an event while there were kids in classes. Had lots of fun explaining that one to the administration.
