J. Lamar King IMPOSTOR Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 I have a 16BL with a Media Logic motor and speed control. Power from a Bescor rechargeable belt. (old cells) It has a Bescor 12V 800mA wall wart AC/DC convertor. If I get the proper 4 pin XLR adapter can the camera be run straight from the wall with it? Or does anybody have a number to Media Logic?
Sam Wells Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 I dunno about Bescor power belt but you do NOT want to do this with the old Cine 60 belts, you could have 110v coming out of there to your camera motor. A battery charger is not neccesarily a power supply. -Sam
Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted June 25, 2004 Premium Member Posted June 25, 2004 You definitely want a well regulated source of DC having minimal "ripple" and the correct voltage under normal load. A "no load" voltage that is too high could damage components.
