Cameron Fraser
Can anybody recommend a tried and tested set up for using 35mm lenses on an XL H1? Anybody had any notable success with this setup? I haven't seen a definitive adapter set up mentioned anywhere yet. Cheers and thanks in advance.

Perhaps you don't like the spinning ground glass, that would make sense, anything else?

Try this link http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/search.php?searchid=545000, if that doesn't work, go to http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/, register then search the H1 forum for mini35: lots of people have posted lots of example footage. Other than the mini35 your options are limited to things like the Redrock Micro M2, which fit in FRONT of the existing 20x lens rather than replacing it a la the mini 35. There may be something out there I haven't noticed, 35mm-adaptors for 1/3" cameras is a notoriously fast moving and finickity field. Ed
John Benton
Theres are tons, I have heard good things about Dan;s http://www.dandiaconu.com/newweb/index.htm but withh the H1 I personally love the Letus35X-XL it firts directly on the camera and has image flip ! http://www.adapterplace.com/ here is some test footage I shot with it (mostly in 24f - so you will need VLC media player to play the raw .m2t files) http://www.realm.cc/upload/benton/
