necessary equipment needed to use a time code slate

Guys,

 

id like to blow some money on a Denecke Time code slate. i would like to know what all i need in order to get the TC sent to the slate... im no sound recordist, just a Steadicam/camera OP. id like to get this slate for my own small productions i do with friends. etc. who would more than likely NOT have this type of equipment.

 

so i know i would need a portable recorder, but what is the piece i need to get the TC sent wirelessly (or wired?) to the slate?
