Eugene Hughes Posted June 22, 2006 Share Posted June 22, 2006 I am looking for a Tripod Head on the cheap that I can mount to a wheeled dolly platform ( plywood ). I am only finding what appears to be replacement heads for tripods. I am guessing they would mount to a machined base. I have searched on Ebay, Google, BHphoto etc for "flat mount tripod heads" with no luck.. any help would be appreciated. I have seen heads that have a flat and stable base before, but I have yet to find one for sale. I guess if all that is available is the replacement types, can anyone suggest one that they have adapted w/ success ?
