Rik Andino
I saw lots of googlee eyed girls in the theater probably there just to see Johnny. They were more likely there to see Orlando Bloom. Depp isn't as big of a sex symbol as he used to be... Depp to me looks like the creepy guy that would steal your car. That's what makes him such an interesting actor to watch on screen. It is a very sad day in america when garbage like this gets box office records like this. It wasn't garbage. It was fun and I enjoyed it...(& so did many other people in America) I won't called it completely memorable or the greatest movie ever But it was worth my ten bucks. And that's all that really matters ultimately. My god you people would be the kind of folks who go to a flea-circus & complain that is not really real fleas. We all work in the entertainment industry so give your fellow filmmakers some slack.
Thom Stitt
kill bill minus one. Pretty close. They capitalized on an opportunity presented by The Matrix's precedent. The film was actually just shot as one long movie, but hey, money's money. It worked out quite nicely for Tarantino. Jim Cameron's planning the same formula for his new CGI franchises, Avatar and the Battle Angel anime. He wants to start with a standalone film, and if it makes money, do 2 and 3 together, saving money on production and releasing them as separate films. His are going to be stereoscopic 3D. I have to say I'm quite ridiculously intrigued. Anyway, back on topic: D'aaarrr.
