Chris Will
We are tring to switch the input voltage of a mag ballast from 120v to 220v. Does anyone know how to do this on a quartzcolor compact. It is done by hard wiring on the inside. I believe that the Neutral line has to become hot by moving it to a different location. I've talked to a couple of people on this and neither of them knew. Thanks Chris

Premium Member Luke Prendergast Posted August 18, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted August 18, 2006 Usual procedure for 120-240v switchable magnetic transformers is two primary windings in parallel for 120v, in series for 240.
