Olex Kalynychenko Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 I wish to submit for consideration a new modification of 17 EP-16 APk motor of Konvas-1M, Konvas-2M cameras. The new version of motor have all mechanical parts of original 17EP-16 APK motor, but, have new modern microprocessor controller of DC motor with crystal sync stabilization and additional possibilities. The new version of motor can have 6, 10, 16 speeds from list : 6.25, 8, 12, 12.5, 15, 16, 16.6, 20, 24, 25, 30, 32, 33,3, 40, 48, 50 fps. This is list included a few series of speeds : - for ? academy ? film shooting with base speed 24 fps and a speeds divisible by 24 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, - for PAL TV shooting and 50 HZ frequency of main power, with base speed 25 fps and a speeds divisible by 25 6.25, 12.5, 16.6, 25, 33,3, 50 - for NTSC TV shooting and 60 Hz frequency of main power, with base speed 30 fps and a speeds divisible by 30 8, 12, 15, 20, 24, 30, 40, The new version of motor have soft motor runaway. The motor pick up speed is sailled, without jerk. The soft start very important for high speeds, because, the mechanism of camera to run without overload. The controller have function of manual adjust of phase of speed and manual turn of mechanism on low speed for test run camera with new film or turn of mirror disk The controller have function a motor stopping at fixed position of mirror disk. This is function work very good without twitching and unnecessary turns, like of original version of 17EP-16 APk motor. The electronics have beep and send signal with connecting a battery and confirm of correct loading of programm. The electronics give signal, if the speed have not crystal sync volume and confirm by beep a stopping of motor on fixed position of mirror disk. The sound signals can be " off ". The electronics have light signal of not crystal sync speed too. The motor can have digital voltmeter for measuring of voltage of battery within 0,1 V. You can see a condition of battery at any time. The motoe have 4 pin XLR connector and new fuse holder for international glass fuses. The new electronic have protection from connect battery with reversal polarity. I not sell 17EP motor with new electronics, i propose a modify of your original 17EP-16 APK motor on 17EP motor with new modern microprocessor control. The modification of 17EP-16 APK motor can have a few versions. At this day, this is list of versions of modifications. I think, after a some time, i will add new versions of modifications too.
