Nate Downes Posted October 15, 2006 Share Posted October 15, 2006 The first major difference is speed, with Tri-X being faster. Next is flexibility, you can "push" Tri-X to higher speeds, at the cost of courser grain. Now, the loss is that Tri-X is a corser grain structure than Plus-X, but with the new chemistry it's not too bad. Plus-X is a bit more contrasty as well.
