Nooman Naqvi
I had a question, most Pakistani movies have this "stale" look. In this case, this movie was shot in year 2002 on 35mm film stock. Do you think they used expired film stock? Please click below to view the 20 seconds sample from a movie. Also, the focus is not sharp. Is that lense related issue? 20 second sample of a film (please right click and Save Target As) Edited October 22, 2006 by Nooman Naqvi

Nooman Naqvi
Is there a possibility that the film stock was expired?
David Venhaus
The problems with old expired film stocks, if improperly stored, may exhibit color shifts, loss of speed and/or fogging to various degrees.
Luke Allein
What makes some American Hollywood movies "stale looking"? I noticed "Dont Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead" looks really washed out and like crap, like all the colors are faded. Also, the print for the original "Die Hard" looks rough as well as "Ghostbusters". I mean Die hard and "Babysitter" arent even that old, what's up with that?
