J. Anthony Gonzales
How hard is it to lock down a camera so that one can change a magazine without disturbing the framing? The best example I can give is the old jump-cut disappearing trick, but instead of just shutting the camera off and on again, how difficult would this be to achieve smoothly during a mag change? Any recommendations as to which cameras are easiest to switch mags on with jostling the camera? I hear the Aatons are quick and easy to change. Thanks, John G. Premium Member Nathan Milford Posted August 16, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted August 16, 2004 I do reg tests all the time which requires me to lock down the tripod, shoot then dismount the mag, rewind and remount (for several mags) for the Aatons and they all work out fine. But my tolerances may not be as critical as yours.
Mitch Gross
It's pretty easy really. Just get a big monster tripod head that you can lock down properly and you should have no problem.
