Alex Haspel
never shot underwater, but my guess would be a video transmitter/reciever system
Daniel Sheehy
Video monitoring via an umbilical cord is the most reliable way.
Mitch Gross
Our Varicam underwater housing has a special sealed viewfinder as well as a rubber-sealed video cable that can run to the surface for monitoring. It's very tight in there -- I don't think we could fit a video transmitter.
Nick Mulder
It's very tight in there -- I don't think we could fit a video transmitter. My Bolex housing is also very tight - I think they are trying to keep the density down by restricting the air to be only that which is inside the camera  The only other thing to do is weigh it down and then its next to impossible to carry out of the water for transitional shots.
