Premium Member Rupe Whiteman Posted February 17, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted February 17, 2007 ... Just seen this new movie written by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright... a hilarious spoof with a great cast and lots of movie references thrown in to... slick photography by Jess Hall and direction from Edgar Wright... great to see a cinema packed for a British film not adapted from a literary classic'! Go see it! - Anyone know more about the shooting details?
Jonathan Bowerbank
Shaun of the Dead is still one of the most brilliant meshing of genres I've ever seen. It starts out as a silly yet clever zombie flick and eventually grows and progresses into a legitimate horror flick. I can't wait for "Hot Fuzz" :)
Dallas Heinlein
I just watched the trailer for it last night at the theaters and it looks like a promising movie in the traditional Simon Pegg/Shaun of the Dead style humor. There's even a reference to Shaun of the Dead when Simon Pegg's character asks "What, you've never taken a shortcut before?" as he proceeds to hop over several backyard fences. I was laughing out loud just watching the movie trailer. I can't wait for this film.
