One of the best perks about it is that it captures at true 1080 HD resolution at 601, 30p or 24p. Right there is one awesome machine. As well, obviously it's got the 1/3 16:9 CCDs allowing for great quality and highly accurate color reproduction, and barely any color noise. And with it's ability to correct camcorder shake instantly, and its versatile image control it's a great camera overall. The only downsides that I have experienced with it were the awkward presets - I ahd to fool around with them for quite sometime to get it how I wanted - and it's slightly front heavy. However, with a decent Manfrotto, it shuld be ok. Hope that helps! :) Dan Goldberg..
