Yuka Eto
Hello, I am looking for any recommended seminars or short term crash courses that cover focus pulling techniques and tips for 1st ACing. I was looking onto the Kodak 5 day course which is a little pricy, has anyone ever taken it? If so please let me know if it's worth taking, thank you! Premium Member Chris Keth Posted June 15, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted June 15, 2007 It's probably no less expensive than the Kodak one but Doug Hart's AC workshop is great. www.theworkshops.com
Premium Member Ralph Keyser Posted June 15, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted June 15, 2007 I'd second the recommendation on Doug Hart's AC course - especially regarding tips and techniques. For actual, hands-on practice, the two week workshop on operating and shooting film that follows the AC course is a great choice. The Kodak workshop gives much more info and experience on their film stocks and how they behave, and you shoot more film at the Kodak workshop which probably accounts for the higher price.
