Hello Uma,

Contact ASC at www.theasc.com. Seek advice on schools from them.

They also have many books concerning cinematography(excellent books) in

their book store. You can order on line from them at the web site listed. Kodak

also has many great instructional dvds that you can buy from ASC. If I may make

a suggestion, I would suggest that you study film in your spare time(actual types

of movie film,their types and uses,limits)and also study how to light subject,

subjects as this will put you a little a head and more informed. Best wishes and

regards for you're endeavors in cinematography. Also get a subscrpition to

American Cinematographer Magazine(its a textbook by itself).

Hi Shankar,

This is Sivanesan from Chennai, i did my cinematography course from Asian Academy of film & TV in Noida (8kms from delhi) AAFT that's a good place for film studies in a short term. BTW did make a try in adyar film institute.
