Bo Price
I'm shooting a short next month and I'm going to use the Aaton A-Minima. But I haven't used it before, and I was wondering if there is anyplace in L.A. that offers training on it. I'd like to be as familiar as possible with it before I start shooting. (I know it uses different camera loads, etc.) Or if anyone knows someone who has one and could show me the ropes, I would gladly pay them for a quick lesson. Thanks so much, Bo
Jonathan Bowerbank
Are you renting it from any specific rental house? If you've already reserved it and perhaps even placed a deposit on it, they'll probably let you come in and load a couple of dummy rolls before your shoot. Thanks so much, Bo You might be better off just hiring a 1st AC that knows the camera for the first day or two to deal with the camera and help you learn.
