Kelsey W. Smith
I?ve been looking at buying the Diva 400. Everything looks good, but it seems to be a pretty new product. I?ve used the Select 4x4 bank and really liked it. The Diva 400 is half the sixe as the Select and puts out a bit more power. Has anyone had any experiences with the Diva. I would really apreciate any info you might have. Thanks in advance! Cheers, K. Smith
Premium Member Kevin Zanit Posted January 2, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted January 2, 2004 Just shot a music video that I used some on. I was pretty happy with them. They performed real well. I actually used one over the camera for an eye light (in a outdoor sunny scene). Kevin Zanit
Mitch Gross
It's a nice unit, but there are a lot of similar competing units out there that use the same bulbs in similar configuration. I'd certainly look around and price them out. Depending on the type of work you do you might be happier with something like a Lowel Caselight. Fredrik Backar FSF
Hi there. Have seen them in use a few times, mostly as fill. During the prods I´ve seen them I worked as an electrician. The handling I must say was a bit awkward, heavy and hard to rig. The light i though nice for a flourescent.
Premium Member Jayson Crothers Posted January 5, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted January 5, 2004 I just finished gaffing a short with a few of them; the DoP fell in love with them and we used them constantly. A bit awkward, but a very nice unit all around. Has anyone used the new Mole Richardson Biax units? Jayson Crothers Los Angeles
