Barter - grip and gaffing in exchange for equipment rentals

I'm an LA based writer/director with my own equipment (listed below). I'm shooting experimental shorts, scenes, etc with friends, and am looking for crew. Gaffers, grips, dp's, make up, art directors, etc. I'm looking for crew who will work in exchange for getting free rentals on equipment.

 

Here's how it works. We agree on a day rate for you work. You bank that day rate with me and can use it toward the rental of my equipment (which I use or rent for money otherwise).
