Scottie Mei
Hi, i am doing a driving scene and a few shots need to be taken through the windshield. I know it gives a slightly greenish/blueish tint on actors' face, and wonder if it is a good idea to put a correction gel to balance it. thanks. Jess Haas
It probably won't be a problem with the windshield since they don't tend to be tinted. Side and back windows on the other hand tend to have a tint that creates a color cast. As long as it isn't horrible I would probably just fix it during color correction, but that really depends on a lot of factors. ~Jess
robert duke
put a color meter to it and use minus green on the light. Windshields have a 1/8 -1/4 green hue to them. A little minus green will do the trick.
