250d vs 500t

I think they are pretty similar, grain-wise, especially if you rate the 7218 with the 85 filter at 200 or 250 ASA. So the difference then would be in terms of contrast and saturation, with 250D being slightly higher in contrast and saturation, Vision-2 being a less harsh look. If you are trying to take some of the flatness out of overcast weather, I'd probably stick to the 250D, rated at 160 ASA maybe.

 

In sunny conditions, you probably should be using a slower-speed stock anyway.
