Adam Paul
It may be a dumb question but is it possible? I'm trying to rate a Sony EX1. Thanks.
Andrew Brinkhaus
It is often times harder to rate a digital camera like an EX1 or HVX, because the sensitivity of the chips changes in different light levels. However, if you read Stephen Murphy's blog on the recent film "Calibre" which he shot on the EX1, he talks about rating the EX1 at a 500ASA. This worked for the look he was trying to recreate, but by averaged ratings, the camera comes out to be around a 320/400ASA.
Adam Paul
Thanks. I need to rate it with a Letus 35mm adapter. Also, I guess the gamma settings would also affect the ISO rating. Is it possible to rate it using a 18% grey card and an incident meter?
