Ayz Waraich
Ah man, that picture was much cooler when it looked like you were distracted by your shadow while everyone waits for their DP. :) Cool pics.

Premium Member Hal Smith Posted July 15, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted July 15, 2008 I was explaining the myth of Plato's cave to the crew... My interpretation of the "cave" is that the persons casting the shadows are teachers - casting dim shadows of the real subject. You're a dynamite teacher so maybe Plato wasn't always right, I don't get the feeling you're casting too many faint shadows as your career has advanced. Premium Member Michael Lehnert Posted July 15, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted July 15, 2008 How odd is that??!? The first thing I thought of gigglingly was Plato's allegory of the cave, too   . Then again, it might just be me madman! That is an eerily beautiful picture! Sometimes, I think there should be an annual exhibition about the set photographs published in industry mags or made for media outreach. They might be more evocative to look at than most of the shallow movieware that floods the multiplexes. (well, i guess you probably have something like that already for an exhibition in one of the many galleries over in L.A. . So no new idea to create something fresh, I fear)
