Richardson Leao
Hi, My kem 16 table has a prism that rotates in close contact with the film and it always gets dirty. I wonder which kind of product i could use to clean the prism and if it would exist any antistatic solution i could apply to it. CHeers
Robert Hughes
optical prisms use a very soft glass which is easily scratched. Start by blowing off dirt with compressed air. If you must, use lens cleaning solution and lens paper (very gently) to clean off the prism.
Premium Member Simon Wyss Posted October 16, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted October 16, 2008 Isopropanol, an alcohol, from your drugstore. Cotton swab What do you mark the film with ? Throw away all grease (China) pencils, only felt markers !
