Andromeda type project for HD100

Hello fans of the Gy-hd100, I currently own 2 and I was wondering if anyone knows of any hacks for it like what people have done with the Andromeda version of the dvx ? I was thinking there might be a way to bypass the cameras compresson and incode it as a raw file on a firestore. but i'm thinking that this would take some hacking to both the camera and the dr-hd100. not sure how to write code or make firmware but i'm assuming that and a few extra pieces here and there would do the trick. Let me know if you have ideas or suggestions on how to go about doing this.

The camera already has uncompressed HD output. You're really not going to get much better.

hey thanks for the reply mitch. i though that the uncompressed output was only for live output though the composite/component out, how would i do it to a firestore? I was also thinking of hacks for posible improving color sampling and stuff like that. I like to tinker around with stuff :rolleyes:
