Anamorphic lenses found in trash!

Hi, I'm new here.

 

 

My wife and I were walking in an alley near our home and found a box with some lenses in it. So Took them home. In the box were.

 

3 TV lenses not in very good shape

 

but two very very clean Anamorphic lenses.

 

EIKI 16F No. 91779

 

KOWA PROMINAR 16-H No. 64187

 

I'm wondering what kind of step down rings I would need to use these on my canon HV30.

 

HV30 is 43mm

 

EIKI 16F just matches the circumference of the UV on the cam and is a female (threads inside). Anyone know what rings I would be looking at to use this?

 

The KOWA 16-H is larger and looks more like 35mm.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're probably already aware of this but the EIKI 16F and the KOWA PROMINAR 16-H are not TV lenses, they are 16mm projector/camera lenses. I'm not sure how well they would work on your Canon, it may give you focus and DOF problems but you can always try it and see what happens.
