Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted October 29, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted October 29, 2008 First thing I'd pull out of that is the sin-city footage... youtube can yank the video for it and it's just bad form when trying to sell your own work by using- directly- someone else's. As for the shooting itself, the bulled FX was well done I'd say. Can't comment on audio as right now I haven't got any and I worry; often, that the primarily black and white, with red or yellow or blue coming through, graphic novel "look," hasn't already become too cliche to be useful. It worked for Sin City, for example; but I have my doubts that the new "The Spirit," will have it working as well-- that's a matter of taste of course, but something to keep in mind. Also it seems a bit under-exposed in where you're placing your skin tones, but that could be you-tube or it could be my monitor-- or probably both. But, i'd bring up skin-tones a bit more and try to add in some separation between the actor and the background with a kicker in the bullet shot.
