Evan Ferrario
A friend of mine recently picked this up at a government auction. It is a photo-sonic 35mm camera. It did not come with anything other than the camera body. He also got 70mm camera which looked very similar in size. Currently I only have pictures of the 35mm version. It has a 24fps cine mode. Also the viewfinder works by sliding a mirror in behind the lens, you focus, then pull the mirror away. I do not have any magazines either, I don't know how possible it is to find for this camera If anyone knew anything more about this camera I'd love to hear it. What kind of lens mount is on it if any. Is it possible to get this camera working. The camera was purchased for next to nothing, I also didn't know if it had any value and if I should consider selling it on ebay and using the money to get a more practical 16mm camera. Evan Ferrario
I did not realize the pictures were so small, I can email larger versions if anyone is interested.

Mike Rizos
The General Services Administration runs internet auctions for many other government departments. Motion picture stuff is pretty rare. http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucindx/ The Defense Department has it's own auction site. This is the place to look for motion picture equipment. There is usually a bunch of 16 and 35 high speed cameras in bad shape with missing parts. The auctions seem to run for 5-7 days every month or so, but stuff is added daily. http://www.govliquidation.com/
Mike Rizos
What kind of lens mount is on it if any. Looks like the mount has been removed. I've seen them with Nikon mount.
Evan Ferrario
http://www.photosonics.com/35mm_6el-1-inch_psi.htm I found out some information about the camera from this site and my friend who purchased it. 35mm-6EL 6 to 250 fps Pin-Registered, 1-Inch Format It appears to shoot a really tall format. Each image is 6 perf and there is space at the top and bottom for information. I do not know if I can find a magazine, I think a lens mount would be easy to make, the magazine is the hard part.
