Premium Member Paul Bruening Posted December 16, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted December 16, 2008 When was NC239 made, roughly? It's on Ebay. But, given the location and serial number, I suspect it might be hot. As in radioactive, not stolen.
Robert Matsumoto
Paul: seeing that the guy is in New Mexico, it probably glows in the dark. Rob
Premium Member Paul Bruening Posted December 17, 2008 Author Premium Member Share Posted December 17, 2008 It's also got "AAF" on the case. That's "Army Air Force". That's WWII and immediately afterwards type designation. That guy could be selling a radioactive camera. I wonder if he knows to Geiger it. He's in NM. He has to know what he's selling. Hi, All the GC's were ex military Government Cameras, I am sure many GC's too, the US government checked their cameras before auctioning them off. Many lenses are radioactive as well due to coatings.
