Super 35

Arriflex, Panavision and Moviecam 35mm cameras can shoot Super 35 as it is only a Ground Glass exchange to do so. It is used in Commercial and Feature Film applications. The only drawback is the larger 'viewing' area doesn't leave you much room to see what is just outside of frame which can be more critical when framing for narrative work where everything is moving (more).. Boom Mic and Boom shadows and a host of other things dancing just out of frame. This applies more to the right and left sides of frame when shooting S35 1:85 or 2:40 spherical.... it affects all four sides when shooting S35 4:3.
