Joe Taylor Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 Here is an "A" list DP who through the 70, 80s, and 90s, was working on mega-budget studios pics but for the past decade seems to have been relegated to B-flicks and straight to video fare. The last article that I remember reading about him was an InFocus story about a documentary he photographed. This was 2001 or so. Does anybody know what he is doing these days? Premium Member Adam Frisch FSF Posted February 4, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted February 4, 2009 I think that as you get older you kind of have two routes to take; Either you go the Deakins route and shoot nonstop but don't have much free time. I know he has a house on the English south coast, but I can't imagine him having much time to spend there. Or you go the Cundey way and stay closer to home. Much like Billy Wilder liked to shoot close to home - Cundey can sleep in his bed and see his family at the end of the day. Depends on what person one is.
