Mathew Rudenberg
A director friend of mine was asking about this technique in P J Harvey's a place called home http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GTVA5-lg80 The video's from 2001, and they're obviously going for that imperfect panning and zooming feel, which I imagine would be easier to achieve by panning through a locked off image than by programming those zooms and pans into a motion control rig they would have in 2001, however it seems like kind of a large area to pan around... Any thoughts?
David Rakoczy
Looks like raunchy pan and scan.... a turn used loosely here as it is a simple matter of 'Sizing'... (which can be done even in Premiere)... and Cross Dissolves.
