A trailer looking to sell a script!

I have written a script and want to try to give an idea of what the project is about. My fear is it could limit peoples imagination and take the script down to the same level as the trailer. However I want to get people interested too. With so many scripts demanding attention this could give it a little edge or it may not. I cant spend the kind of money that would do justice to a fully realised trailer but then most couldnt either. In fact I cant spend any money at all. So I have to try even harder to recreate a big scale illusion. Does this make you want to read the script and see more or does it shout amatuer and leave you disinterested? :)
