Adding Stills into a 35mm neg cut

I have shot some footage on 35mm and want to add in a cartoon sequence, what is the best way to do this. I will be doing a neg cut shortly. thanks in advance

Is the footage on 35mm negs?

all the filmed footage is on 35mm neg, the cartoon sequence is on a series of drawing boards .... thanks for your help

Well, since you shot 35mm negs, you obviously have access to a camera. Why don't you shoot your animation on 35mm neg stock?

Seriously, rig the camera above a light table. Light your drawings and shoot them one by one (or two by two, if that's how you drew them to be shot). That will give you a neg of your shot cartoon.
