Chris Millar
"You are allowed one larger lithium ion battery installed in a device, plus up to 2 spare larger lithium ion batteries. " I'm ok then, with my EX1 - that is if the batteries are "100 and 300 watt-hours (8-25 g equivalent lithium content, or ELC.)" - where does these rules come from though ? are they international or specific to the US only ? Premium Member Stephen Williams Posted June 19, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted June 19, 2009 What do you guys make of this? Has anyone tried this since the change of law? A guy from Red sent it to me, but I don't know anyone that has tried it yet. Thanks all. http://safetravel.dot.gov/larger_batt.html Travis Hi Travis, Thats the regulations. Red Batteries are 'larger batteries' so a maximium of 1 attached to a camera & 2 spares. People break the law every day, some live to regret it.
