Premium Member brentfinley Posted December 16, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted December 16, 2004 Hey all. I have acquired a photosonics 4ML (pin registered 200 fps 35mm camera) with 400 foot mag. Many military surplus cameras like this are Kodak square perf. As far as I know, the pulldowns and reg pins need modification. I'm wondering if the pitch is different too. I see on Kodak's web site that there are .1886 and .1870 pitch for the KS perf and I'm not sure if the Photo-Sonics mag has the longer pitch as well. I'm curious if anyone has had experience in converting these mags, how well it worked, and what pitfalls need to be avoided. Thanks for any insight. Brent ps - Off topic... why would you ever put a print stock pitch on a camera film... for instance... High speed 16mm film on spools is .3000 pitch instead of .2996. Why?
