7D : I have to record audio... is there any way not to do it "deaf"?

Hello everybody,

so I have a job tomorrow, recording audio on my 7D. I rented Sennheiser's ew100 g2 radio microphone, and the recordings are fine, but I have no idea how to listen to what the camera records "live". Is there a way?

You could use a simple 3.5mm male to two female Y splitter. Take the output of the Senn. receiver and split it, use one output for the camera's line and one for headphones. If you do go that route, make sure to gaff tape the connection point on the receiver, as with a normal splitter you won't be able to lock the connection. Just a few bucks at radioshack and you've got a (jerryrigged) headphone output.

Problem with that is that you're monitoring only what the is coming from the mic to the camera, not what is being recorded in the camera.
