Super 8 Prints From Negs Available

Just carrying the news over from another Forum.. but Widescreen is apparently going to be offering S-8 projection prints from the new negetives.

I can't for the life of me, think of why someone would need a Super 8 print so bad, that it would justify the cost for something like this.

 

I mean, where are you going to project it, in your living room?

It doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. But then again they do alot more projecting od Super 8 film in Britian than we do in the United States. People still buy films on Super 8 when they can get them. Maybe it's a cultural thing. I'm curious how they are doing it.

Yes, I have a 6 foot screen on my wall for just that.. and I think its safe to assume that there are a lot more S-8 users still projecting than telecine. I enjoy both NLE and projection for different reasons.
