Dillon Brown
Hey Matt, Great looking reel! Really impressed. I've got a friend who is going into production on a 20 minute short film, with around a 20K budget this summer - shooting in June/July for three weeks roughly. We are still up in the air with the decision to shoot HD (RED/MarkII/EX/etc.) or film (super 16/35), and obviously it's an issue of budget. However, I will pass him along your website and this post. We both really hope we can shoot film, if logistics and monetarily it works out. I currently intern at a post house in Burbank where film is scanned, and love every minute of it. If you are available we'd love to meet up with you sometime to talk film vs. digital if you have any suggestions/comments/concerns with one or the other. Thanks. - Dillon

Premium Member Vincent Sweeney Posted May 23, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted May 23, 2010 Watch American Graffiti or Once Upon a Time in the West and you'll see Techniscope. Although S16 can be damn impressive these days as well.
