F Bulgarelli
Hello I was wondering if anyone has some reference examples of old hollywood style day for night photography? I will be doing a test and I'm looking for some good information on this technique. Any comments or suggestions are welcome, thanks Francisco
Gustavo Brum
My favorite ones is Marlon Brando's The Wild One...very well done and very convincing.
Karel Bata
Do you mean color or black & white? Here's Roger Deakins answering a similar query

Premium Member George Ebersole Posted June 11, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted June 11, 2010 Hello I was wondering if anyone has some reference examples of old hollywood style day for night photography? I will be doing a test and I'm looking for some good information on this technique. Any comments or suggestions are welcome, thanks Francisco I think most films and TV series prior to 1970 used day-for-night filters. Most John Wayne westerns and some pirate films are the best examples that come to mind.
