Karel Bata
He claims this was shot and edited entirely on the iPhone 4 / iMovie App (in 48 hours). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6amrKRmI1bI&fmt=18 "Apple of My Eye" A shrewd move by Michael Korbel to get some publicity. Why else use iMovie? In other words I wish I'd thought of that! He must have used an external monitor - how else would you judge focus? It's interesting how the (rather severe) skewiff verticals become a part of the dream sequence. And a shame about the camera shadows. :o But it does look rather good for... a phone.
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted June 29, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted June 29, 2010 Yea not bad looking @ all and it really makes me miss my old HO scale trains :/ The iris changes mid shot were a little bit distracting though. Karel Bata
We just have to wait for the hack! And no doubt someone will come up with a fix for the verticals like wot they done at The Foundry for the RED and 5D. Such clever people.
Chris Durham
It's very easy to rip the image apart - I mean, it's pretty crisp but very problematic - but well shot, all things considered, with very clever use of so small a device.
