Red trouble in thunder light

First i'm need to said sorry for my bad english.

 

I just found a problem while i shoot a storm scene.

I made a thunder light by use arc..and when i check in raw file

it make a half frame flash and i don't know how to solve it.

Please recommend something to me,thank

This happens on many types of camera. It's caused by the rolling shutter technique used on the Red's sensor, which you can read about here:

Simply, the camera reads out the picture in rows of pixels, in sequence. This takes a certain amount of time. Anything in the shot that happens quickly, such as a rotating wheel, camera flash, or lightning, will reveal this.

 

There is no fix.

There is no fix.

 

.... No fix in production. The way to go on Red is to shoot without the flashes, then fake them in post.
