I'm wondering if anyone knows what the rate is then? Is it just the 2x holiday or is it 3x for holiday and 6th day combined? I tried calling Friday but couldn't reach any biz reps. K Borowski Posted September 5, 2010 Share Posted September 5, 2010 I highly doubt that it will be 3x rate. I think you will probably just be given 2x which is the higher of the two rates. Don't you just love laboring on labor day? Could be worse though. Many companies get away, somehow, with not paying ANY overtime to their workers on this day now. They often use part-time workers and then claim that their arbitrarily-scheduled work hours don't entitle them to "holiday pay." Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
