Tobias Mennle
Watching the bluray of "The Fox and the girl" (2007) I was struck in awe how fantastic the images looked. Amazing colours and bokeh. Anybody out there who knows about lenses and film stock they used? Apart from Angenieux 24-290 they must have used lenses with an oldfashioned six bladed aperture - Zeiss standards or superspeeds? Fuji stock??? How did they make it look so gorgeous? (Shame the plot is not convincing). There are also about 5 minutes of HD footage which look significantly worse than the rest...
