James Steven Beverly
Could this work for the Konvas 1m and KSR-1: http://swedishchameleon.se/?p=421 It looks like it attaches to standard 15mm rods and is belt drive so this SHOULD work like a charm. I actually thought about trying to fabricate a belt drive FF for my little KSR-1 so seeing this made me wonder particularly because the more modern OCT-18 mount lenses did away with the mouse ears and use the serrated grip for focus adjustment. What's your opinion? B)
Olex Kalynychenko
Could this work for the Konvas 1m and KSR-1: I think, can be work. Good idea. To set a holder of 15 mm rods on left side of body.
Mitch Gross
There are also now follow focuses from ARRI and (soon) OConnor that use a rubber wheel to turn the focus ring via friction. These might work as well.

Premium Member Bruce Taylor Posted October 19, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted October 19, 2010 Speaking of the rubber wheel idea, there was a vendor at Cinegear last year that was making just such a device. His booth was full of HDSLR goodies. I'll see if I can find the name tonight, but you could look under the Cinegear vendors list.
