Rick Hamilton
Hello community of cinematographers. I'm looking for feedback on a short film that several of us completed back in August -- the first that I directed. I was curious about the possibilities involved in making a film that would be shot vertically. Although we didn't push that to it's limits, because we are all beginners, I think there is a little bit of something here that some of you might find interesting. I was also curious about making this video available on cell phones because there aren't many movies made specifically for that medium (). Is it because we like large screens? And how would it be different to watch a film on a screen in public, on your daily ride on the subway, versus watching the film in a private dark-lit room? Any thoughts? I would appreciate any feedback; comments; critique; or advice very much! Here is the link to the project:
