Rolando Fernandez
Experiments in the past 2 years using two identical parallel video cameras for 3D and post-processing at SD still not convince me at all. I'm working on a mirror split system for single camera like the one used by Bolex in the 50's but for a bigger lens like a 72mm diameter and will be test on my Scoopic MS and Frezolini LW16. The resulting 16mm split frame image is in perfect alignment always and the color and contrast of film will be superior than video. There is a free processing software called "stereo movie maker" for creating the final frame composition. Anaglyph and polarized will be test, but for internet anaglyph is the best choice for me. Finaly I will test also some anamorphic lenses to achieve a more wider aspect ratio on the final image. Any sugestions will be greatly apreciated Edited January 28, 2011 by Rolando Fernandez

kevin jackman
if you want to maintain the best possible image then you will want to look into ultra high quality mirrors. not all mirrors are made alike.
