Premium Member Alessandro Machi Posted February 25, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted February 25, 2005 While it appears to be a technical issue not really having much to do with cinematography, has anyone ever gone to the Academy Awards strictly to get a "Pool Feed"? I received a fax from someone who wants me to be their technical person for getting a B-roll feed from the Pool. I'm reluctant to list information on here because it's probably confidential. Can someone explain what type of video connection is provided from the Pool Feed? I'm assuming it's a basic BNC for video and XLR for audio, is that correct? Are crews bringing BetaCam SP decks or what? The information I received comes across as if someone has already done it before, so since I haven't, I feel lost about the whole thing.
