Because if the light is 3200K but you set the camera to 3700K, for example, then the camera will be balanced so that 3700K is "white" and thus 3200K would look warmer in comparison. If the light was 3200K but you set the camera to 2700K, then you are telling the camera that 2700K is "white" and thus 3200K will look cooler in comparison. You have settings above 5600K so that daylight can be rendered warmer. If the camera is set so that 7000K is "white" then 5600K light is going to look warmer in comparison. No we set the camera white balance at 5600 we used (Tungstun lights),Acc to you(David mullen) 3200 will be more warmer..but here thats not happend,when we were going to below 5600 cool blue is coming then we raised the temp 9100 ,it shows more warm... You sure your light is balanced to 3200k? By the sounds of it you have a 5600k light, thats the only reason it could be blue when you dip below 5600k and warmer when over it.
